Digital Story-telling

You will be choosing one of your personal stories or poems to showcase here. This is otherwise known in Writing Workshop terms as publishing! This technology incorporates pictures and/or video footage to go along with a student’s narrated story.  This is a powerful tool for publishing personal narratives and poetry. Pictures can be scanned from photos or downloaded from the internet or from clipart to embellish a story or poem. Most PCs have a program called Moviemaker that is user friendly. Macs have a program called imovie. It can be as short as two minutes or as long as ten minutes. I basically want you to just try out this technology. Think about adding music in the background along with your voice reading your story aloud. This is another way to discover your voice!
